Activities
I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg in June 2011 with a thesis entitled “Resource-Aware Routing in Delay- and Disruption-Tolerant Networks”. My supervisor was Professor Simin Nadjm-Tehrani, Director of the Real-time Systems Laboratory (RTSLAB) at Linköping University, Sweden. After completing my doctoral studies, I returned to my part-time job with EFA Luxembourg, where I was involved in software engineering. Since December 2012 I have been on sabbatical leave from EFA, and I am currently a post-doctoral fellow with NECTEC, Thailand.

Research
My main research domain is resource allocation in Delay- and Disruption Tolerant Networks. My other research interests include new service paradigms in conjunction with network convergence, nanonetworks, opportunistic mobile networks (focus on context awareness), and distributed systems.

Teaching
During my time at the University of Luxembourg, I was also a teaching assistant for Prof. Simin Nadjm-Tehrani, Prof. Sjouke Mauw and Prof. Lothar Baum for the 1st-year Master of Science “Distributed systems” course, and the 2nd-year Bachelor’s “Formal verification of computer systems” course. In 2010, I taught “Algorithms and data structures” for 2nd-year Bachelor’s as a teaching assistant for Prof. Pierre Kelsen. At Linköping University I supervised M.Sc. student Davide Anzaldi for his thesis: “ORWAR: a delay-tolerant protocol implemented on the Android platform” (link)
